Is your teen feeling sad, lonely, or irritable? Are you concerned that social isolation is causing anxiety or depression? I have experience supporting teens to handle intense emotions. I teach skills so teens can recognize their feelings & use tools to manage them, without resorting to unhealthy behaviors.
If you are struggling to set limits, stay calm instead of reactive during arguments, or knowing how to support your teen, parent coaching can help. Learn techniques to manage conflict with ease, and build connection with your teen.
I utilize two evidence-based treatments in my work with tweens and teens, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Have you used everything in your toolbox but find yourself struggling to connect with your strong-willed child? Fighting to get your child through homework, chores, and other daily activities?
I have experience working with families and schools to get to the bottom of the why so I can help you with the how. I use a behavioral approach to identify solutions and work collaboratively with you. Learn skills that empower families and help children thrive so that they can show up in the world as their best selves.
