For Teens Ages 13-17 with Autism or Related Disorders
Dr. Colleen Jungersen is enrolling teens aged 13-17 in a social skills group with an autism or related disorder diagnosis.
The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS) offers unique skills with the goal of reducing anxiety and worries associated with social situations.
How It Helps
Is your teen is struggling with conversational skills, entering and exiting conversations, electronic communication, or using humor appropriately?
This skills-based group can help them improve their social interactions, be a good sport, and better handle teasing/bullying.
Details
This group is on Thursdays evenings at 5 PM. We accept Cigna and Aetna insurances or have a cash rate of $50 per group session. The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS) offers unique skills with the goal of reducing anxiety and worries associated with social situations.
