About Dr. Lauren Pasqua, PsyD, PMH-C

Dr. Pasqua is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience and the founder of Connections Child and Family Center in Spring and The Woodlands, Texas. She leads a specialty-trained team that works with children, teens, adults, and families using evidence-based approaches, including comprehensive adherent DBT for adolescents.

She founded CCFC because she saw a gap: families who needed more than what most practices could offer. The practice has grown into a team of clinicians who consult together, train together, and stay in this community because they live here.

“Every family is doing the best they can with what they know. My job is to give you better tools so you can do even better. You don’t have to figure this out alone.”

What parents say.

“I thought my daughter was just being a difficult teenager. Dr. Pasqua helped me see what I was missing. We got her into DBT and she went from daily meltdowns to actually using coping skills. I have my daughter back.”

Parent of a teenager

“The validation strategies are game-changers. I used to lecture and argue. Now I say ‘I can see why you’d feel that way’ and my son actually talks to me instead of slamming his door.”

Parent of a 15-year-old

“I was terrified my son would hurt himself. The DBT program gave him tools to manage his emotions and gave us skills to support him without making things worse. We’re not in crisis mode anymore.”
