Five seats we need filled

All five are for licensed clinicians in Texas (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, PsyD). If you are still earning hours, our training programs are the door in.

Play therapist

Ages 3 and up, and often younger. Registered Play Therapist or working toward it. You’ll carry a young-child caseload and have a fully stocked playroom at each office.

Teen therapist

Ages 11 to 18 and their parents. Comfortable with high-acuity teens, school coordination, and parents who are scared. Feeds our Teen Thrive program.

DBT therapist

Individual DBT plus a weekly skills group inside our comprehensive DBT program. Intensively trained is ideal. Foundationally trained and willing to finish is fine.

Trauma therapist

Kids, teens, or adults. TF-CBT, EMDR, Brainspotting, or CPP. You’ll get referrals that match the ages and modalities you actually want.

Anxiety & OCD specialist

ERP-trained, or ready to be. You’ll carry OCD and anxiety cases inside our new Anxiety & OCD Program, with parent work alongside. Kids, teens, or adults.

Why Connections?

Supported therapists do better work

Join an awesome team that promotes self care, teamwork, and personal growth. We hire individuals who align with our mission and embody our values. We believe that supported therapists do better work AND that we are better together. By creating a culture of work-life balance, nonstop learning, acceptance and fun we can make a huge impact on our community, while building a team worth joining.

We want to create a work environment where people are fulfilled seeing the clients they want to see, make a good living doing so, feel supported by colleagues, and have fun!

Two ways to work here

Pick the arrangement that fits your life. Change it later if your life changes.

Most group practices offer one deal. We offer two, and you can move between them at your annual review.

Licensed W-2 clinician

You’re an employee. We handle billing, credentialing, scheduling, intake, marketing, and the referral stream. You handle the clinical work.

  • Per-session track: paid a flat rate per completed session, minimum 15 client hours per week. Build your schedule around your life.
  • Salaried, full-time track: stable base salary at 100+ sessions a month, full benefits, profit-share eligibility.
  • Health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance plus PTO for full-time staff. 401(k) access for everyone.
  • Pay differentials for certain certifications and specialty training, and for Spanish-speaking clinicians.

Connections Collaborative membership

You own your practice entity. We plug it into ours. Built for established clinicians who want private-practice income without private-practice overhead.

  • Bill under our payer contracts (BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Curative). No two-year credentialing slog.
  • We do billing, claims, verification, intake, scheduling, and referrals under the Connections brand.
  • You keep the majority of collections. A flat monthly platform fee covers the rest.
  • Office space at any of our three locations, or fully virtual.
  • Requirements: independent Texas license, your own LLC or PLLC with an EIN. No session minimum, but we prefer at least 10 a week.

Membership is by application and interview. We take a small number of members each year.

Specialty training

You should be better at this in two years than you are today

Generalist work burns people out. A specialty gives you a reason to stay in the field. Every clinician here picks a program, and the training to get there happens in stages.

1

DBT

Foundational, then intensive training. Skills group co-lead, then lead. Consultation team every week.

2

Anxiety & OCD

ERP training and supervised cases inside our new program. SPACE for parents.

3

Disruptive Behaviors

PCIT and Parent Management Training with live coaching through the one-way mirror.

4

Trauma & play

TF-CBT, EMDR, Brainspotting, CPP, and play therapy. We help fund EMDR and Brainspotting training, and you get a caseload to match.

Training funding is available to W-2 clinicians carrying 20 or more sessions a week.

Who you are

We hire for three things

  • Humble. You ask for consultation before a case goes sideways, not after. You can hear feedback without making it a whole thing.
  • Hungry. You want to get better. You show up to team, you finish the training, you want the hard cases.
  • Smart about people. You read the room. With clients, with parents, with the front desk. Kindness is a clinical skill here, not a personality bonus.
What you’ll actually do

The job, in plain terms

  • See 15+ clients a week, at least half of them in person.
  • Evenings and weekends are not required, but kids are in school during the day, so you may need some to fill a full caseload.
  • Weekly consultation, monthly team meeting, quarterly one-on-one with your Clinical Director. All paid.
  • Goal-directed, measured treatment. We track outcomes and you’ll see yours.
What we handle so you don’t

The business side is our job

Referrals

A steady stream, matched to the ages and problems you want. You say no to poor fits.

Billing & credentialing

Claims, verification, invoicing, denials, and payer enrollment. In-house team, not a vendor.

Front desk & intake

Phones, scheduling, intake paperwork, no-show follow-up. You get a clean calendar.

Space & tools

Furnished offices in Spring, The Woodlands, and Houston. Full assessment library. Playrooms. Stocked break room.
